Consider the problem of how to locate and keep track of all your sensitive equipment...
Perhaps the only disadvantage of today’s increasingly “mobile” world is how easy it is for sensitive equipment – and even more sensitive data – to “disappear”. Even the best security in the world cannot (without alienating your valued workers) prevent a really determined or ingenious attempt to steal laptop, or smaller handheld/mobile devices.

Wouldn't it be nice to have ironclad security – without having security personnel everywhere? You would not only save enormously on the cost of the security personnel, but also have a system that would actively monitor and record every detail of the movement of tagged personnel and equipment at every time of the day (or night) – without that crucial lapse of concentration that even the best security personnel face occasionally. You would have a system that could intelligently raise an audio and/or visual alert if it detected an unauthorized tag leaving the building. It would also be able to record the movement of tags at all times, and “play back” this movement for observation and investigation later.
