Overview | ASSeTRA Pilot Program

RFID Systems for Access & Asset Control

Technology provides us with amazing conveniences like laptops, handheld/mobile computers, PDA's and cellphones. Advancing technologies make them smaller, faster, and lighter - and also much more easy to steal.

Much more important than the devices themselves, is the data that they contain -
vital to you and a bonanza to your competitors. Industrial espionage of all kinds has been
identified by Gartner as 'the biggest threat' to Intellectual Property in business
today.

RFID is one of the most exciting and versatile technologies to emerge in recent times - and has a powerful set of features ideally suited for access control and security. RFID will
allow you to move from a passive security model, to one where you can actively track all.

How can RFID Help?

RFID can help you completely automate your vigilance - to provide an invisible, amazingly accurate, and ever-watchful eye upon your enterprise assets. Once your assets are RFID protected, the system can not only detect when they are leaving (or entering) the facility, but also enforce rules that check to see that equipment leave only with the right personnel- a facility that is unmatched by any other security system in the world today.

and need to be located instantaneously.

Any organization that needs to closely track and monitor personnel or equipment within
the facility.

ASSeTRA is built on top of the the ARIES Middleware framework. which collects information using a network of RFID sensors throughout your facility. It provides an enterprise level RFID controllability and integration with your access control, inventory, and other IT systems.

These RFID sensors will installed at each entry/exit point in your facility - and connected
to the central controller. ASSeTRA will be interfaced with your existing access control systems. You may also use the ASSeTRA Visualizer for visual feedback of your entire
